BRANSON ON THE ROAD is the kind of show you thought was long gone in this day of overproduced music, overused special effects and performers singing to tracks.

Featured on national television, BRANSON ON THE ROAD is in the same tradition as the traveling road shows during the glory days of the Grand Ole Opry, the Louisiana Hayride and the first Branson music shows...and now, Branson is coming to you!

The award-winning BRANSON ON THE ROAD keeps you tapping, laughing and smiling from opening note to final curtain. The fast-paced, high energy show will leave you with a smile on your face and humming a tune under your breath.

DERWIN HINSON grew up in North Carolina playing and singing in his family's Gospel band.  In his early 20's he was hired by Charlie Louvin and found himself on the stage of the Grand Ole Opry the very next week.  Later he toured with Vern Gosdin and was a side-man in Nashville.  Derwin hosted a weekly bluegrass night at the Bell Cove Club at which Bill Monroe was a frequent guest.  Derwin, a multi-instrumentalist, has taught stringed instrument lessons since 1977.  He toured the last 22 years as the "One-Man Gospel Band", and hosted and facilitated a weekly Bluegrass Jam for 17 years. Derwin makes merry as a premier real-bearded Santa Claus.  Derwin loves to help people find their best "self" in music.

ALENE GAIL was raised on a farm in rural North Carolina.  She is the youngest of seven and has been singing since she was a young child.

Alene worked in ministry for 16 years as a sound engineer, bass player, and singer.  Alene is an excellent bassist, singer and has that infectious smile that no one can resist!
